Mr. Henk Luymes, of Abbotsford, BC, passed peacefully into glory on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at his home. He was predeceased by his wife, Lidy, and by his grandchildren Warren and Erin.He is survived by his children: Joan (John) Klapwyk of Elora, Ontario; Wilma (Bart) Keulen of Delta; Evelyn (Harry) Kersbergen of Burnaby; Harold (Hilda) of Abbotsford; Greta (Ted) DeJong, of Abbotsford; and Don (Karla) of Abbotsford; 25 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 11:00 am at Gateway Christian Reformed Church, 2884 Gladys Avenue, Abbotsford (former Abbotsford Christian School Heritage Campus), Rev. Bert Slofstra officiating.
