ENNS, Mr. Cornelius late of Matsqui, BC passed away on Fri. Oct. 13/06 at age 82 years. He was predeceased by both parents, one brother and his oldest son Don. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Katie; children: Alf and Kathy of Grand Forks, Rudy of Greendale, Carol of Rossland, Neil and Rose of Arnold, Annette and Alan Borrows of Abbotsford and Gerry and Miyuki of Abbotsford; 25 wonderful grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and siblings: Abe of Surrey, Trig and Phil of Steveston, Anne and Henry Adrian of Mission, Pete and Dot of Abbotsford, Eric of Whitehorse, Harold and Norma of Williams Lake and Nick of Abbotsford. Cornie was not fishing (as many predicted) at the time of death. He was active with the Mennonite Church, Gleaners, Senior Choir, catering and Melody Ensemble. Cornie had an unwaivering love for God and family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wed. Oct. 18/06 at 11:00 am from South Abbotsford Church, 32424 Huntingdon Rd. Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gleaners would be appreciated.
