Mr. Andy (Angelo) William Zanatta, long-time Abbotsford resident, passed away in MSA Hospital on December 22, 2004 at the age of 96 years.
He was predeceased by Ada, his beloved wife of 56 years, in 1998. He is survived by his loving daughter Andrea Mikulan who had the privilege of caring for him in his last years. He will also be sadly missed by loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Andy was a long-time dairy farmer and avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the B.C. outdoors and he was always active, even biking almost daily on Sumas Prairie well into his nineties.
Prayers will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 29 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Ave, Abbotsford. A Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, December 30 with Father Robert Wong S.J. celebrant. Interment will follow at Musselwhite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
