MANZER. Monte Manzer went home to be with his Lord June 9th 2011 with his family at his side. He was born Nov. 23, 1931 in Vancouver BC, the only child of the late Howard Manzer and Gwen (Newcombe) Manzer. He grew up in Silverdale on the family homestead on Manzer Rd. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Darlene of 54 years; his children Kathy Hill (Derrick), Doug (Karen); grandchildren, Dustin, Megan, Emily, Nicholas and Eli; a large extended family and many friends. Monte was a proud member of The Gideons, Bethel Pentecostal Assembly, Full Gospel Business Men, and the local bowling league. He enjoyed traveling, mowing, watching hockey, and visiting with friends over coffee. A Memorial service will be held, Saturday June 18th at 1:00 PM at Bethel Pentecostal Assembly, 32729 7th Ave, in Mission.
