McCONNEL, Mina Marguerite (nee Artress)
of Abbotsford, BC passed away peacefully April 24, 2010 at the age of 91, surrounded by her loving family.
Mina was born March 18, 1919 in Coronation, Alberta. She grew up at Dry William Lake and Mt. Lehman, the majority of her life was spent in Abbotsford. She was the daughter of Henry and Mary (nee Hughson) Artress. Mina is survived by six children, Elsie Lee, Audrey (Brian) Kerr, Fred (Dracie), Linda (Gary), Ken (Francine), Pam (Grant) Stamford, her sister Alice Rempel, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest, seven sisters, four brothers and son-in-law Don Lee.
Mina loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by them all.
A Celebration of Mina's life will be held on Saturday, June 19th 2010 at 2:00 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road,Abbotsford.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
