SMITH; Mildred Violet
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mildred Smith, age 87, on July 25, 2014 at The Residence in Mission. She was predeceased by her husband Mark, brother Steve, sisters Elsie and Grace and her son-in-law Harold. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Eloise (Allan), Gail, Rosemary (Doug) and Trudy (Dave), nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and her newly arrived great-great granddaughter. Her unconditional love, her devotion to family, her much appreciated cooking and baking talents, her strong work ethic, her sense of right and wrong and her willingness to help others in need have all been an inspiration to everyone who knew her and her legacy will continue to live on through all the people in her family. She was a truly remarkable woman. Thank you to the staff at Pleasant View and The Residence in Mission for their excellent care and compassion. A private family service was requested.
