With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Lorne Poignant.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Henderson's Funeral Home in Abbotsford.
Mike retired after a long career as a truck driver with Van Kam, a role that allowed him to travel, but his true passion lay in music. Before his truck driving career, Mike studied Jazz at Malaspina College in Nanaimo, where he honed a lifelong love for music.
Mike's family, friends, and those who knew him will miss his gentle nature, sense of humour, and the joy he brought to everyone he encountered.
Rest in peace, Mike, you will always be in our hearts.
