1922 – 2006
Michael passed away peacefully on August 27, 2006, surrounded by his family. He is survived by Margaret, his loving wife of 55 years; his two daughters, Jo-Anne (Paul Nash), Barb (Frank Scanlan) and two sons, Brian (Sandy) and Barry (Heidi); five wonderful grandchildren, Jolene, Chris, Sean, Jason and Forrest. He leaves, also, one brother, Joe and one sister, Dorothy Found; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six sisters and two brothers. Mike had many careers during his lifetime, his last before retirement being a milk tester with the ROP. After retiring he and Margaret travelled down to Arizona, California and across Canada in their motorhome, making many friends along the way. His greatest joy in life was his family, on whom he doted. Mike’s sense of humour will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His laugh and his smile will be forever with us.
If so desired, donations made in Mike’s memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada would be most appreciated.
