After a courageous battle with cancer, Meindert was taken to be with his Lord and Savior.
He leaves behind his wife Tena; his children Patrick & Maureen, Sandra & David, and Kevin & Rachel; and his grandchildren Kaela, Zion, Lucas, Ryan, Dara, Theo, and Sahara. He is also survived by his siblings in the Netherlands: Chris & Hennie, Anja & Richard, and Peter & Wia; and his siblings-in-law in Canada: Dick & Anne, Anne, Matt & Dorothy, and Luke & Alyse.
A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, April 23 at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, Abbotsford. Our heartfelt thanks to the warm and caring staff at the Palliative Care unit at ARH.
