ZUEST; Mary (Maria). It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many on June 21. Mary is predeceased by her husband, Ulrich (Uli) and daughter, Donna. She is survived by her sons: Gord, Rick (Maureen), Gary (Margaret), Dave (Laurel) and Kelly (Lisa). Mary was born to Kornelius and Kaethe Peters on Sept. 12, 1933 in Eichenfeld, Russia and immigrated to Canada in 1949 with her mother, sisters and brothers. She married Uli on June 2, 1951. A very special thank you to Dr. Gill and the wonderful nursing staff at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Her memorial service will be held at the Garden Park Towers (101-2825 Clearbrook Rd) on Saturday June 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the Azalea Room. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Society. Rest in peace, Mom. We love you.
