VOS (PRINS), Mary
Mary passed away in the presence of her Lord and Saviour on May 13, 2010 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband Henk of 56 years and her children; Linda(Bud), Gary (Renita), Susan (Brian), Dianne(Todd), Ray(Jackie), Dao Tran; grandchildren, Matthew, Andrea, Russell, Melanie, Trevor, Andrew, Alisha(Brandon), Cameron, Ryan, Nicole, Alyssa, Joel, Marita, Erica, Timothy,
Rebecca, Jared, and Taryn.
Mary was born in Andyk, The Netherlands on December 6, 1925 and immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1936. She along with her husband Henk and four children moved to Abbotsford in 1965 and farmed in Matsqui. She was a charter member of Living Hope CRC and an active in the Ladies Society. She also helped to start the Bibles for Missions Thrift Store which they volunteered at for 15 years. Mary was on hemo dialysis for 4 1/2 years. She is the last of the Prins children to pass into glory.
We want to thank the staff at the ACE Unit and the Renal Unit in the Abbotsford Regional Hospital for the genuine care she received while there. A memorial service will be held at Living Hope CRC, 34631 Old Clayburn Rd., Abbotsford on Monday, May 17 at 1 pm. Donations to the Kidney Foundation are gladly accepted.
