Mary Wiebe-Sawatzky died on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006 at the age of 84 years. Mary (nee Wall) was born in the Ukraine. During the Âsecond World War she and her family made their way to Abbotsford as refugees. She married Jacob Wiebe of Brooks, Alberta in 1951. Together they and their Âfamily moved to Clearbrook in 1957. Mary was predeceased by her first husband Jacob in 1982, her son Victor in 1997 and her Âsecond husband David Sawatzky in 2000. She is survived by her three sons: Walter (Lorraine) of Calgary, Rudy (Kathy) of Dixonville, AB and Bill of Abbotsford as well as her Âsecond family: Melvin and Jesse of Abbotsford, Orlando and Heather of Sechelt and Debbie and Rick Dyck of Abbotsford along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Tursday, Nov 9, 2006 at 11:00 am from Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church.
