February 4, 1930 - May 11, 2020
It is with sadness and thanksgiving that we announce the passing of Mary Konrad, on May 11, 2020.
Maria Wiens was born in Wembly, Alberta on February 4, 1930 and married Abraham Konrad on July 16, 1952. Together they enjoyed more than 67 years of marriage, living in BC, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario, pastoring Mennonite Brethren churches in each of those provinces.
In addition to her husband Abe, Mary is survived by her five sons; Alfred, Ernest (Tia), Wilfred (Angela), Wesley (Valerie), and Chester (Pauline); grandchildren; Jennifer, Ryan (Chastidy), Dylan, Brittany (Carl), Tyler, Nathan, Dominic, Delaney, and Franklyn; great grandchildren; Noah, Bentley, Tucker, and Ashley. She is predeceased by her daughter, Edith Joy.
A graveside family service was held at Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery on May 20, 2020. Absent from the body, present with the Lord.
