Mary died peacefully on August 27th, 2009 in the embrace of her family in Abbotsford, B.C. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce in December of 1976 and her daughter Holly in August of 1986. She is survived by her daughters Maureen (Ken) Kensick and Kathleen (Harry) Smith as well as her son Michael. Mary was born on May 8th, 1914 in Nanaimo, B.C. Funeral prayers will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Wednesday Sept 2 at 7:00 PM. The funeral mass will be at St. Ann’s on Thursday, September 3 at 10:30 AM. The church is located at 33333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford B.C. V2S 1P4. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Bevan Lodge in Abbotsford for the care, support and kindness they gave our mother during her stay.
