Mary passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Thursday, 12 March 2020 at Menno Hospital, Abbotsford. Mary was pre-deceased by her second husband, Rev. Bernard Hunter, as well as her first husband John (Jack) McGowan and five of her nine siblings.
Mary is survived by her children Joyce (Clark), Jim (Bev), Rob (Deb) and Myrna (Errol), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as Bernie's children and grands.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the loving staff at Menno Hospital, The Oxford and Primrose Gardens in Abbotsford.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held at a later date due to the current outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
