After generously sharing her life of 96 years with her family and friends, Mary Grass passed away peacefully September 26, 2003 comforted by her family and her faith.
Mary was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, caring great grandmother, and was nearly a great great grandmother.
Predeceased by her husband Ewald (Ed) Grass in 1989, a dear grandson Doug and daughter-in-law Betty, as well as six brothers and one sister.
Mary leaves to celebrate her life, her sister Hilda of Kelowna, son Herb of Abbotsford, daughter Edith Heppner (Norm) of Abbotsford, son Ewald (Connie) of Kelowna, son Harold (Karen) of Nanaimo, 9 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
A special thank you to her grandchildren Joanne and Diane for their angelic-like care and comfort given to their beloved Gramma. The family would also like to thank Dr. Wallace and 3rd floor staff at MSA Hospital for their care and consideration.
A celebration of Mary's life took place at Peace Lutheran Church on Tuesday, September 30, 2003.
