Williams, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" long time resident of Abbotsford passed away peacefully in Abbotsford on Saturday, December 25, 2004 at age 83, with her family at her side. Mom was predeceased by her husband Ray on September 22, 1983, parents, and brother Gerry Anderson. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her 4 daughters Linda (Philip) Abbott of Cranbrook, Susan (Ralph) Chapple of Keremeos, Lisa (Paul) Kuster of Squamish, and Leslie Williams (Brennan Jorgert) of Abbotsford; 2 grand daughters Jennifer Kuster and Kathy (Gary) McLain of Squamish; sister Jean Turner of New Westminster; several nieces and nephews; Betty’s special companions "Cali and Toad". Betty made her family the center of her life. The many pets brought home over many years, were a special interest and love. She loved animals of all kinds and in the later years delighted in long rides in the country and seeing horses in particular. She took great care to keep birds feeders filled for the wild birds and squirrels. Betty took great pleasure in the achievements of her children, grandchildren, and their friends, but also in the CHAMPION ROTTWEILERS she lived with. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 2-8 p.m., from the Williams residence 31521 Oakridge Crescent, Abbotsford, phone (604) 850.6687.
