In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mary-anne Britten, who left us peacefully on June1st, 2025 with her loving husband at her side.
Mary-anne was born in 1961in The Pas, Manitoba to the late Esther and Harvey Richards. Mary-anne was the beloved wife of Michael Britten of whom she shared a beautiful 45-year marriage. A dedicated mother, she will be missed by her children Dennis Britten, Bradley Britten and Jamie Britten. She was also a cherished grandmother to Brett, Brayden, Christopher, Bella, Devin, Malcolm, Violet, Brooklynn, Coltin, Kendra and Kaylinn.
Mary-anne was a cherished sister to five brothers Clifford, Harvey, Sunny, Morris and the late Terry Richards, and her four sisters Yvonne, Karen, Diane and Elaine. She was predeceased by her parents Esther and Harvey Richards, her brother Terry and beloved son Bradley Britten.
Mary-anne dedicated over 10 years working at Community Services and later continued her invaluable contributions with the Stó:lō Nation. Her work was a testament to her compassionate spirit and commitment to others.
Known for her kindness, strength and one of a kind laugh. Mary-anne brought joy and comfort to everyone she met, but her true happiness came from spending time with her family and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on June 28th, 1pm-4pm at 2709 Countess Street Abbotsford, BC.
Mary-anne's memory will be forever cherished by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
