GUILLOT Marlene. Born January 29, 1941, in Owen Sound, Ontario. Passed away on May 9, 2012 in Mission, BC. Marlene is predeceased by her parents Harold & Goldie Furness. Marlene is survived by her daughters Laura, Susan, Nancy, Sharla, Teri-Ann, and Jacqueline; grandchildren, great grandchildren; and sisters Pauline and Haroldine. Marlene was a gifted artist and she created an extraordinary collection of oil paintings throughout her life that her family treasures. She was a writer and spent many years creating a book of her artwork. She had a passion for the natural world and would love nothing more than a walk through nature to inspire her to paint. Marlene had a flare for fashion and did some modelling in her youth. As well, she loved to keep physically active and was a gymnast as a teen and practiced yoga avidly throughout her life. At the age of 57 years Marlene received her masters degree in education after returning to school as an adult. She will live in our hearts forever.
