FUNK, Marlene Jean (nee Small)
January 4, 1938 - November 20, 2014
Marlene left us on November 20, 2014 and heaven welcomed an angel. She was predeceased by her mother Mona Pennie, father Clyde Small, step-Mother Irene Small, sister Margaret Glover and brother James Pennie. Left to mourn are her loving husband Ben, son Dan, daughter-in-law Debbie, grandsons Kris and Matthew (Nicole), sister Judy (Craig) and sister Jackie (Georgette).
Marlene also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and grand nieces and nephews whom she loved and who loved her most dearly. All those who loved Marlene, family and friends alike, will miss her smile, her warmth, her genuine love and affection for those close to her and lastly her kindness towards all. Her house was open to any and all and she truly celebrated Life. A Celebration of Marlene's Life will be held on January 3, 2015 at the Aldergrove Legion 26607 Fraser Way, Aldergrove, BC at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Canuck House or The Holmberg House Hospice in Abbotsford.
