Marjorie Clover Fraser (nee Hammond) passed away October 7, 2019 at Salt Spring Island, BC in her 98th year. Marjorie is predeceased by infant daughter Shirley Ellen and her husband Johnnie, she is survived by two daughters Brenda Fraser (Gerry Kidson) and Sharon Lauze; four grandchildren Stuart and Laura Kidson, Hunter and Sephine Lauze. Marjorie was born December 28, 1921 in Merritt, BC to William and Nell Hammond. She moved to Sumas Prairie in 1942 where she met John R. D. (Johnnie) Fraser. They married in 1949 and farmed on Matsqui Prairie for many years. Marjorie moved to Sidney in 1996. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Electa Chapter #20, O.E.S. A private family service to be held at a later date. Friends wishing to place a memorial may donate to the charity of their choice.
