PICCIN; Marie "Micky" (nee Connelly)
On Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Merritt, BC in her 90th year. Survived by her son Rocci (Lynette), grandsons Jamie (Candace), Jesse (Shannon), Jordan (Claudia), great grandchildren Enzo and Chiara Piccin and many nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her father Francis 1945 and mother Margaret Connelly 1958, her husband Battista in 1967, their son Patrick 2008, her brothers Campbell 1938 and Bill 1953, her sisters Kathleen Dirksen 1974, Patricia Rector 1984, Myrtle Boyes 1985, and Lorena McDonald 1988. Marie (Micky) made her home in Abbotsford for nearly 50 years where she worked for the Homemaker Society, cooking, cleaning and caring for young and old in their time of need. She raised two sons and her door was open to many family and friends, they could always depend on her generosity and kindness. Marie's quality and commitment to her word, work, family and friends, was a testimony to her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Memorial Service to be held at 1672 Salton Road, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
