JONES, MARIE (EILEEN) JOYCE
Eileen Jones passed away peacefully December 9, 2008 at the age of 79. She was born on September 9, 1929 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband Bernie who passed away November 15, 2008. Eileen is survived by her brother Alvin Ward (Diane), brother-in-law, Walter (Lydia), Lyle (Jean), Alvin and many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
Eileen was a volunteer with the Mission Seniors where she was a past member of the executive and frequently prepared lunch for the Mission Seniors bingo players. Eileen loved playing bingo herself and could often be found playing in Mission and in Abbotsford.
Eileen has requested no service, as internment of both she and Bernie will take place in Regina, Sask. early next summer where they will be laid to rest together.
The Mission Legion has graciously offered to hold a Memorial Tea for Eileen and Bernie Jones sometime in January, 2009. The date is still to be determined.

memorial donations may be made in her name to the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission or the Canadian Cancer Society.
