Maria Elsie Wiebe. (January 16, 1920 -
October 17, 2012). Maria Elsie Wiebe (Regier), long-time resident of Swift Current, SK, and in recent years of White Rock, BC, peacefully passed away October 17 in Abbotsford, BC. She was born in Wymark, SK. Elsie, as she was known, was predeceased by her husband, Jacob P. Wiebe, to whom she was married for 62 years. She was also predeceased by their oldest daughter, Judy Fast. She is survived by her one remaining sibling, Lydia Regier (Kamloops, BC) and three children - Doreen (Dave) Pulliam (Dallas, OR), Ron (Sue) Wiebe (Abbotsford, BC), and Donna (Terry) Warren (Nanaimo, BC). She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. During their lifetime, Jake & Elsie owned and operated Nodge Manufacturing, working together to build a successful manufacturing business. Elsie is remembered by her loved ones as a faithful wife and mother. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park, 14831-28th Avenue, Surrey, BC.
