Maria “Mary” passed away peacefully at MSA Hospital on May 24, 2005. She was born in Gretna, Manitoba on March 29, 1935. Her family moved to Abbotsford in 1944. She was one of the five owners of the Clearbrook Shopping Centre.
Predeceased by her parents; her sisters Margaret Goldbeck, Nettie Penner; brothers Peter Wiebe and Dick Wiebe. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Helen Hoeppner, Anne Janzen; brothers Chuck Wiebe (Christine), Jake Wiebe (Jean), Hank Wiebe (Chris); and 31 nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial will be held. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at MSA Hosptial for their thoughtfulness and care of Mary. She will be deeply missed by her family.
