July 21, 1919 ~ January 5, 2005
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Maria Loewen (nee Hildebrandt) at MSA Hospital on January 5, 2005 at the age of 85. Maria was born on July 21, 1919. She married Leonard Loewen on August 12, 1950. Leonard passed away July of 1988. She leaves to mourn her passing 4 children John Loewen (Arlica), Linda Loewen, Alvin Loewen, and Margaret Smith (Frank); 4 grandchildren Sheryl Bowker, Michael Loewen, Bradley Loewen, and Tim Smith; 3 great grandchildren Steven Bowker, Andrea Bowker, and Chelsea Loewen; brother Frank Hildebrandt; and sister Erna Sawatzky.
A funeral service was held at Clearbrook M.B. Church on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 with burial following at Maclure Road Cemetery.
