Margaret Oosterhof (nee DeJong) passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on June 20, 2018 surrounded by her children. Predeceased by her husband Anno she will be missed by her children Tina (Gary), Ed (Dorothy), Emily (Harry), Jan (Henry), Marianne (John), Joyce (Allan), Betty (Brian) and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a supportive wife, loving mom, and hard worker who immigrated from Holland in 1951 and successfully helped run a farm in Chilliwack and then later, the store Jubilee Jewellers in Abbotsford.
Mom will be remembered for her strength, wisdom, unwavering faith in God, and steadfast love for her family. She enjoyed traveling and tending to her numerous plants, but nothing brought her more joy than having coffee with her children on a daily basis.
Her memorial will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 26 at Northview Community Church in Abbotsford.
