Margaret (nee Varga/Schaufert) Yaworski in her 82nd year, passed away peacefully on October 28 at the Menno Hospital in Abbotsford.
Margaret was born in Polgar, Hungary on March 7, 1925. In 1930 her family moved to Alberta, Canada where they grew sugar beets. In 1941 she married Rudolf Schaufert and in 1946 they, with their two sons, moved to Abbotsford, BC where they had two more children. In 1976 she married Albine (Al) Yaworski in Abbotsford.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents Steve and Zsofi Varga (Ontario), her first husband Rudolf (1969), her sister Elizabeth (Hungary), Sofi (Alberta), Anne (Frank) Noel (Mission), her brother Steve Varga (Ontario), and her daughter Cheryl Allard (Abbotsford, October 15, 2006).
Margaret will be sadly missed by her husband Al Yaworski of Abbotsford; her sons Ronald (Rosalie) of Abbotsford, Gary (Tecia) of Abbotsford, and Dennis (Bonnie) of Mission; her son-in-law Mike Allard of Abbotsford; her brothers (all in Ontario) Alex Varga, Leslie (Ilene) Varga, Bill (Joyce) Varga, and Albert Varga; five step children, 21 grandÂchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of Âflowers a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of BC would be appreciated.
