Margaret Mary Thiessen

Margaret passed into the presence of her Lord on September 16, 2019 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2013 and was the last of her siblings to pass away. Margaret is survived by her loving family of four children; Ernest (Evangeline), Allen, Carol (Michael) Nichvolodoff, and Lester (Theano). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Margaret was born in Grand Prairie and moved to Yarrow as a teenager where she met Frank. They established the Valley Driving School in 1968 and operated it until 1981. In her senior years, Margaret gave back to the community through many years of being a caregiver.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 3 pm in Grace Church, 2087 McMillan Road, Abbotsford. In honor of Margaret, memorial donations will be accepted to help a Nepali family at risk. For more information please visit:
