MacDONALD Margaret

September 19, 1925 - April 8, 2008

Margaret was born in Lossiemouth, Scotland and moved to Canada in 1946, settling in Moncton, N.B. John (husband of 62 years) and Margaret moved to B.C. in 1974, living in the Fraser Valley for the past 24 years. Margaret was a war bride meeting John while he was serving as an officer with the RCAF Bomber Command during WWll.

Margaret was the daughter of George and Margaret Campbell, she had 2 sisters and 6 brothers and were a very well known fishing family in Scotland. Brothers Andrew and Jim came to Canada to be part of a private family service held in Abbotsford, B.C.

Margaret and John had four children Derick (Kamloops), Andrew (Peace River AB), Colin (Vancouver), and was predeceased by Graham (2004) of Arichat, N.S. and grandson Paul (1987) of Vancouver.

The family wishes to thank Dr. John Chan (her fellow Canuck fan), the Fraser Valley Health nurses and associates as well as all the wonderful staff that cared for Margaret while at MSA Hospital.

Margaret will be remembered for the happiness she brought to her husband, children, grandchildren and all other family members and friends. Her caring, loving and unselfish style will be missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her.
