Margaret Buchanan Harvey, born on August 8th, 1920 in Toronto, ON to Andrew and Janet Baird (Taylor), died November 28th, 2004 in Abbotsford, BC. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter Hugh Harvey (1975), brother David Baird (1996) and son Drew Harvey (2000).
She is survived by sons Don (Lynne) Harvey and Jim (Marilyn) Harvey, daughter Ann (Bob) Hanowell and grandchildren: Tammy (Brad) Johnson, Tim (Rhonda) Hanowell, Laurie Hanowell, Adam Harvey, Kristi Ethier, Michelle Harvey and Trudy Chester. She will also be remembered by 11 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, Nancy and Ruth Harvey, brother-in-law Gene Brown, life-long friends, of 55 years, Fred and Olive Reeves and ex-daughter-in-law Sheila (Len) Gossen.
A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2004 at 12:30 pm from Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road (at Sumas Way), Abbotsford.
Donations may be made in Margaret’s Memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
