Margaret Anne Gregg (nee McCuaig)

January 22, 2020

September 22, 1923 - January 22, 2020
It is with sadness we announce Margaret passed away peacefully in her home. She was predeceased by her husband Roy in 2008. Margaret is survived by her daughters Lynne (Mel) Dagg, Heather Davies, Cathy (Ken) McAllister and son Norman (Lorraine). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in both BC and Alberta.
Margaret was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. She served in the WAC base in Edmonton decoding messages during WWII. Roy and Margaret were married December 24, 1945 and enjoyed 62 years together. She was an office manager for many years at Mrs. Willman's Baking in Burnaby before retiring to Abbotsford.
Roy and Margaret enjoyed the comradeship of their friends at Crown Point Villas, heading south for the winter, golfing, and socializing. Margaret kept busy doing needlework, ceramics and of course, knitting. She knit countless little toques for newborns as well as lap blankets for seniors.
Margaret was very loving and supportive of her brood and will be remembered dearly as 'GG' or 'GGG'.
The Gregg family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Todorov, Happiness at Home, the Fraser Valley Health caregivers and paramedics for their support this past year.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Margaret on May 16, 2020, 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Amenity Building at Crown Point Villas, 34959 Old Clayburn Road, Abbotsford, BC.
