Malcolm Danial (Sonny) Nicholson, a resident of Mission, B.C. passed away in Mission Memorial Hospital at age 64 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Sonny is survived by his wife Janice; children Dan Nicholson, Brenda (Tim) LaFerdy, both of Prince George, Deborah (Dennis) Nicholson of Kamloops; his extended family Shawna (Alan) Lucas and Conrad Minks of Mission and Shirley (Fred)Turner; brothers George (Donna) Nicholson and Rocky (Sheila) Jollymore of Dartmouth, N.S.; grandsons Michael, Sebastian and Ethan; step-granddaughters Megan and Rachel; special nephew Michael (Shelly) Millet; great nephew Tyler Millet and many other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Randy Siemes, his staff, the staff at Mission Memorial Hospital, the Palliative Care team and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #57 for all their care and support.
A Memeorial Service will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2003 from 1 - 3 p.m. in the meeting hall at St. Andrew's Place, 7365 Cedar St., Mission. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, 33079B - 1st Avenue, Mission, V2V
