Leaving many beautiful memories, Mrs. Lydia (Lyda) Rose Boyton, late of Langley (formerly of Abbotsford), passed peacefully into God's loving presence on November 2, 2003 in her 88th year at Langley Memorial Hospital.
Lyda is survived by her 5 loving children; Barbara Timmerman (Wayne), Sandra Cosby (Orval), Barry (Sharon), Dave (Joanie), Valerie Koppens (Bert), 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her loving sister Irene Brooks.
Predeceased by her devoted husband and good friend Douglas, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and grandson Christopher Timmerman.
Lyda will long be remembered for her artistic flair, quick wit and always a smile or a laugh for someone.
Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home in Abbotsford on November 6 at 1:30 p.m. Interment following at Hazelwood Cemetery. Donations can be made to Langley Memorial Hospital, M.S. Society, or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
