LUCIE LEA HULTIN

January 25, 2004

Lucie Lea Hultin (Tiberghien) passed away peacefully on January 25, 2004 at 84 years of age. Lovingly remembered by Jack, her husband of 62 years; her twin sons Ivan (Anne) and Ed (Irene); and 4 grandchildren Rob, Lisa, Ron, and Cheryl. She is also rememberd and loved by sister Toodie and brother Eddy, and many other close relatives, nieces, nephews, friends, and adopted grandchildren. Mom was a very generous "strong woman" who loved life, children, nature, travelling, fishing, bingo, and garage sales. Oh yes, and Chocolates! Mom loved to socialize, party and joke. She was a hard worker who owned and ran the Stride Avenue Store in South Burnaby for many years. The store opened in the morning when a customer would push the buzzer and she would close at 9:00 p.m., but reopen for anyone who didn't make it on time. She loved her Monday night badminton during those years.

Visitaiton will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2004 from 7 - 9 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, B.C. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Ireland officiating. A reception will follow. Burial will take place at Mussewhite Cemetery.

A special thanks to "Team #1" at the Cottage Extended Care home in Abbotsford for their loving care of Mom.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Osteoporosis Society of Canada, B.C. Division; S.P.C.A.; CKNW Orphan's Fund; or a charity of your choice, in Mom's name would be appreciated.
