Lola Margaret LUND

Lola Margaret Lund (nee Scott) passed away at the ECU in Mission on Monday, August 20, 2007 in her 86th year. Lola was born in Maryfield, Sask. on Sept. 22, 1921. She was a school teacher in Sask. for two years prior to marrying her husband, Norman, of 55 years. They travel­led west until finally settling in Mission in 1964. They owned and operated Lund's Cycle & Repair for 13 years before retirement. Lola will be remembered for her beautiful handwork, delicious home baked goodies and her witty sense of humour. She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends whether at home or on the road.

Lola is predeceased by her parents Charles and Emily Scott; her husband Norman; twin children Brenda and Brent; her brothers Harry and Wes Scott; and her sisters Eva Johnson and Isabella and Isa Scott (in infancy).

Lola is survived by her children Don (Becky), Mary (Ray) Baker, Audrey (Wayne) Anderson, Larry (Jean), Gordie (Lorraine), Ed (Rhonda), Myrna (Paul) Wieler, Brian (Suzanne), Sandy (Kim) Cormack, Valerie (Ken) Bishop; 21 grandchildren; 15 great grand­children and one great great grandson; several step-grand and great grandchildren; two ­brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 31, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Presbyterian Church, 8469 Cedar St., Mission.
