Lloyd Worden passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 16, 2003 in the Extended Care Unit in Mission, B.C., at the age of 81 years. He will be lovingly remembered by Sylvia, his wife and companion of 60 years; sons Robert (Judy) and Don (Penny); daughters Sharon (Al) and Sandra; grandchildren Casey, Tracey (Bob) and Sandra; great grandchildren Ashley and Jacob. His brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews and many friends will also sadly miss Lloyd.
Lloyd was born in Mermillion, Alberta and lived in Alberta until 1971 when he moved to B.C. He was a caring husband, father, grandfather and friend whose door was always open.
The family wishes to thank the staff from Dogwood Lane at the ECU, Dr. Wouterloot and Keith Davies, for their care and kindness. Per Lloyd's wishes, a family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ECU at Mission Memorial Hospital, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
