Lloyd of Abbotsford, BC, formerly of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully with his family at his side August 27, 2005 at the age of 76 years after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Darlene; children Kevin (Glenda), Grant (Connie) of Strathmore, AB, Glen (Sandy) of Bellingham, WA, grandchildren Bradley, Shaun, Janilee, Lenae and Shelby; sister Ardis (Sam) Herman of Lloydminster, AB; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends,
For 25 years Lloyd owned and operated the Massey Ferguson Farm Implement dealership in North Battleford.
Service of Remembrance was held Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at 3:00 pm in the Peace Lutheran Church, 2029 Ware St., Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Peace Lutheran Memorial Fund would be appreciated. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Morrison and the staff of MSA ECU (The Cottage) and Maplewood House for their kindness and support. Darlene would like to also thank the Alzheimer's caregivers support group for the strength and help they have given her over this time.
