It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Jeanette Peters, beloved wife of John, loving mother of Brent (Sandy), Grant (Adrienne) and Marshall and devoted grandÂmother of Teresa and Bailee. Linda passed away on Saturday July 8, 2006 at MSA Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. Linda valiantly fought her long battle with cancer courageously and silently. She wanted to continue doing the things she loved to do: volunteering, helping, and spending time with family and friends. Linda was born on November 25, 1947 in Nelson, BC and spent many years in the Okanagan. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves to mourn her sisters Lorraine (Ted) and Loretta (Dave), their children, many in-laws, Ânieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Northview Community Church, 32040 Downes Road, Abbotsford. Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 13 from 7-9 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 1:00 pm in Canyon View Cemetery, Summerland, BC.
