It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Isherwood on September 14, 2024, at the age of 64.
Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She touched the lives of many and will be missed beyond words.
Linda was predeceased by her father Harold, father-in-law Russell, mother-in-law Nancy, and brothers-in-law Mike and Ian.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Dana, and their daughters Melissa (Jeff) and Jenny. Linda leaves behind her loving mother Louise and her cherished siblings: Peter, Sandi (Dale), Roger (Jennifer), and Al (Bonnie). She was the proud grandmother of Colton, Ari, Emma, Payton, and Freya.
Linda is also survived by her sister-in-law Pauline, along with her many nephews and a niece.
She also had many lifelong friends, each of whom she cared for deeply and held close to her heart.
Linda was always busy with something—whether tending her large yard full of flowers and shrubs, helping Dana with the blueberry harvest, caring for her aging mother, or looking after her daughters and grandchildren with endless babysitting and love. Her dedication to her family and all she did was tireless, and her nurturing spirit touched everyone who knew her.
As a lover of sports, gardening, hummingbirds, flowers, music, puzzles, and tea, Linda found joy in life's simple pleasures. Her warmth, compassion, and sense of humour will be remembered by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, 1 p.m, at Bradner Hall (5305 Bradner Rd, Abbotsford). In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Lung Association in support of Pulmonary Fibrosis research.
