Lillian Ruth Stewart
January 6th, 1960 ~ May 28th, 2017
Lillian Ruth Stewart peacefully passed away at White Rock & South Surrey Hospice at the age of 57, following her year-long battle with cancer. Lillian was a loving colleague, friend, aunt, sister, wife and mother who left us too soon, and will be deeply missed by all. Lillian was known for her spunk, courage, determination, love of animals, creative mind, thoughtful heart and level-headed nature. Lillian spent the last 18 years working at Vancouver Community College as an instructor, where she tirelessly dedicated her whole self towards her students. Lillian had a zest for creativity in all aspects of her life, most prominently in painting, gardening, sewing and design. She will be forever remembered for her innovative ideas, and natural ways of thinking outside the box. Lillian was a truly beautiful soul who went above and beyond for the people she cared about. We will miss her every day. Details about a Celebration of Life will follow in the next few weeks.
