Lillian HACKER

September 6, 2010

HACKER, Lillian L. (nee Bauer)

Lillian passed peacefully in the early hours of Sept. 6, with her family around her. She was predeceased by her husband, Cliff (1988), infant son John (1952), and son Alan (1999).

She is survived by her 4 children: Clare Edmundson (Bill) and sons Ben and Carson, of North Vancouver; Bev Oliver (James) and children Devon-Julie, Mike and Thomas, of Abbotsford; Dave Hacker

(Polly) and sons Max and Noah, of North Vancouver; and Karen Albo (Troy), and daughters Lauren, Morgan and Julia, of Trail. Lillian was born on July 7, 1923, in Humboldt, SA. She moved with her family to a wheat farm, in Grimshaw AB, in 1925. Lillian became an RN at Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary, and moved to Vancouver in the mid 1940's. Cliff and Lillian married on Feb 6, 1951, and moved to Abbotsford, where they raised their family. In later years, Lillian became an avid daily golfer, and could be found on Ledgeview, and later, on Fraser Glen golf courses. She didn't think it was particularly impressive when she scored a hole-in-one on 2 separate occasions.

The family would like to express thanks to the 3rd floor staff, at Bevan Lodge, for their Kind support.

Private family Burial Mass to follow.
