Lil Perry late of Abbotsford passed away at MSA Hospital on January 24, 2004 at the age of 87 years.
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 29, 1916, Lil immigrated to Canada with her husband and two children in 1954.
Lil is survived by her sons James Perry (Lorraine) of Abbotsford and Robert Perry (Pat) of Whitehorse, Yukon. Her niece Janice Vance, who came from Ireland to be by her side, her grandchildren, Hunter, Ryan and Michael.
She is predeceased by her husband Jim Perry. "Gran" lived life to its fullest, and was a fond believer that a giving hand never wants. She was a dear friend to many and was well known for her Irish brogue and wit.
There will be a celebration of Lil's life starting anytime after 1:00 pm at 33272 Farrant Crescent, Abbotsford, on Wednesday, January 28th. Friends of Lil are invited to join us at that time. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of British Columbia.
