DERKSEN, Liese (nee Richert) June 23, 1927 - March 10, 2014. Liese passed away in the presence of her family on March 10, at Sherwood Crescent Manor. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1994, her granddaughter Debbie Larson in 1986, son-in-law Henry Koop in 1993, and son-in-law Edwin Larson in 2009. She is survived by her loving family; 6 children George (Marlene), Helen Larson, Walter (Cherie), Dorothy Koop, Art and Harold, and by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Heinrich and Harry and one sister Sonya, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC.
