Leslye was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 16, 1980 and suddenly left us on March 28, 2003 at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. She died peacefully with her mother at her bedside after a short battle with Sepsis (blood infection).
Leslye is survived by her mother Linda of Coalmont, B.C., her brother Doug of Kamloops and was predeceased by her father U.S. Army pilot Carroll L. Baird.
A memorial service in her memory will be held at the Coalmont Hotel in Coalmont, B.C. on Saturday, April 26 at 3 p.m.
Leslye will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her family and many friends throughout the Fraser Valley.
