December 13, 1935 - November 9, 2019
Each of you should use whatever gifts you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. -1 Peter 4:10
And our precious 'Ownie' had so many gifts...
Leona Maxine Klingspon passed away peacefully at age 83 following a brief
but intense battle with cancer. She passed away surrounded at her bedside
by her loving family, in the manner that she lived her life, with beauty, with
grace and with dignity.

She was born 13 December 1935 in Edmonton, Alberta to wonderful parents William and Anne. She married Norman Klingspon her high school sweetheart in 1955, and together they lived one of the greatest love stories imaginable.
'Own' was a gifted artist, with her oil paintings depicting all the beauty she saw in nature, and with her design in all aspects of her world. She was a gifted and respected businesswoman, as the manager of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce for 15 years. With her Servant's Heart and her boundless energy, she loved to love and serve people, and touched the lives of all those who had the gift of experiencing this 'magical' lady.
Dearest Leona is survived, first and foremost, by her husband Norman Klingspon -the man who adored and cherished every moment with her from the day they first met as teenagers in Edmonton to her beautiful final breath in the dream home that she designed in Abbotsford.
She is survived by her eldest sister Dolores Dawson and her baby sister Marlyne Garber, their children and their childrens' children. She was predeceased by her brother Randall.
Mom is survived by daughter Kara Klingspon and grandchildren Kris, Kyle, Cody and Cady; by daughter Kimi Postma, her husband Peter, granddaughter Kaitlyn, step grandchildren Kayleigh, Nick and Tylan, and spouses, and great grandson Judah; and by son Mark Klingspon and grandsons Jonathan Bear and Max Vancouver.
Precious Leona deeply loved and deeply touched and impacted each of our lives.
