Leon Dieno

March 10, 1929 - September 3, 2018
Leon was born in Young, SK, moved to BC in the 1930's and grew up in Surrey. In the early 1950's he had his own fishing boat. He moved to Mission, BC in the late 1960's.

Leon and his wife Marion managed Welton Towers for 22 years. Leon was Mr. Fix-it and took care of maintenance and always helped others. Both Leon and Marion were very active in their church, Leon served 25 years on the church board and for 14 years had been faithfully encouraging and working with www.feedingthehungry.ca taking care of business and helping hundreds of orphans and the very poor in Malawi, Africa and also Mozambique. Leon with this wife Marion were solid Christians and loved their family and were a big blessing to many people.

Marion passed away in February 2017 and now Leon is also there to join her at Jesus' side. Left behind is his son Clifford Dieno (Holly), three daughters Lavern, Shelly and Verna, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Graveside service September 17th at Valley View Cemetery in Surrey, BC, at 1:00 pm for both Leon and Marion. Celebration of Life October 27th at 1:00 pm at Mission Zion Christian Fellowship, corner of 2nd & Grand, Mission, BC.
