Lawrence Tufford passed away on October 27, 2003 at the age of 88 years.
He was predeceased by his sisters Hazel and Leona, brother Harold, and by his ex-wife Mathilda.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years Dorothy (formerly Pohl, nee Robinson), four sons Douglas (Joan) of Surrey, Gordon (Charlene) of Victoria, Brian of Abbotsford, Kenneth (Evelyn) of Okanagan Falls; three brothers Fred of Portage la Prairie, MB, Murray of High Bluff, MB and Victor of Victoria, BC. Also survived by one step-daughter Miki Boleen (Ken) of Abbotsford; three step-sons Gordon Pohl (Veronica) of Seven Sister Falls, MB, Dennis Pohl (Diane) of St. Adolph, MB and Lewis Pohl (Donna) of Brookdale, MB; by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Memorial United Church, 33733 Hazel Street, Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
