Our father passed away during a brief stay in the hospital. He was born in Consul, Saskatchewan. Our father and mother were responsible for establishing Rempel & Sons Meat Company in Abbotsford. BC. People came from miles away for their highly in demand products. They retired and 2 of their sons took over the business and it is still thriving to this day.
Dad was predeceased by his wife (Reta) in 2014. He is survived by his sister Lila Labbe, his daughters Debbie Richardson (Alex Lefebvre), Linda Stout (Peter Stout), his sons Clifford Rempel (Joanne Rempel), Vernon Rempel (Verla Rempel), and Gerald Rempel (Karen Rempel). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service to be held at 2:00 pm on January 7, 2019 at Cascade Community Church, Abbotsford, BC.
