DENNY, Lawrence William "Bud"

A longtime resident of Bradner and son of local pioneers, William and Florence (Coghlan) Denny, Bud passed away peacefully at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his sisters, Pearl Ridgley and Agnes Greer, his brother Russell Denny and sister-in-law June Denny. He is survived by his sisters, Dorothy Buchanan and Virginia (Frank) Decker, his brother Charles Denny, many nieces, nephews, their families and a few close friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 28, at Mt. Lehman Cemetery, Taylor Rd., in Mt. Lehman. Rev. Ken Dean will officiate. Reception and tea to follow at the Army, Navy, Air Force Club, in Mt. Lehman. For those desiring, donations made in Bud's memory to the B.C. & Yukon Heart & Stroke Foundation, (or a charity of your own choosing), would be most appreciated.
